ZW means it was originally a W fare and that it was upgraded. The credit is based on the W part since that's what the system sees the ticket as. When you bought the upgrade what did you actually buy? Up to a W to apply a GPU? Or something else?

bom-ewr originally booked in L -- yes, I bought an upgrade to apply a GPU -- which has not yet been subtracted from my account, and I got credits as if it were a Z fare. Not complaining! Just trying to figure out the rules.
