In 2010, an agent called "Find China" that mostly caters to Taiwanese visitors charged my group of four 22,000RMB for:
- Tibetan tour guide and driver, a Toyota Landcruiser, gasoline and tolls for two trips out of Lhasa 6/9-6/11 and 6/12-6/24;
- TTB permit for one person (me), including courier fees;
- Pickup at Lhasa airport on 6/5 and drop off at train station on 6/25.
First excursion was three-day to Linzhi, while the second one was 13-day all the way out to Ali.
The service they're asking for 7,700RMB is not even 1/10 of what we got.
