I was an Access member for a while, before they changed the program, but I quit in protest after their botched 1928 promo. In some European hotels, I got very nice treatment, including upgrades to junior suites, being welcomed by the GM, some nice local gifts, real champagne in the room, etc., but it is highly variable as are the hotels.
