The iPhone TomTom app is brilliant. I have navigated through Europe with it, without going wrong once - the directions are very clear. And the iroutes (if that is what they are called) are very good at predicting the shortest journey times. I would always use it in addition to the factory fitted sat nav in our cars on an unfamiliar route.
