well I am guessing not in the too distant future the threshholds are going to change to 25k 50K and 75K for AS metal levels. that will be a chip chip chip as well but at the same time restore some of the upgrade chances in the long run. I just have a gut feeling about this and a change Im expecting and prepared for. With all this long haul Hawaii stuff and all the transcons its pretty easy to get 40k. It used to be difficult when AS was just the west coast and Alaska. Unless you were going to and from Alaska frequently it was very hard
