If AS didn't have the Hawaii services from OAK, I'd agree 100%.
There's adequate non-stop Hawaii service from DEN and plenty of one-stop service via other hubs. Connecting traffic - particularly on a route competing directly with WN - has no upside of AS.
The best opportunity out of OAK for AS s probably ORD.
