Sudden decompression does happen. If someone does not take it seriously, with bad consequences, a good class action lawsuit might be precisely what AC/airliines need to get some religion? And boot the spin doctors, who seemingly have taken over the world. Hello Mr. Poutine. Or Putin?
Doesn't have to be a sudden decompression. There could be a slow leak as we saw with that Greek airline.
I can see how people may not appreciate or even notice a slow leak, but I don't think anyone would not take a sudden decompression seriously.
