Not at all, but after being a member here and in many other forums for more than 10 years aside from being a Diamond, I am able to predict the treatment for 9 out of 10 stays...

Exactly and I try to set & balance the expectations for several other members in several forums since years.

I do not know with whom you disagree, but it can't be me.
On a side note, most of the rooms are set aside the night before one arrives, often by a superior of the mamangers running the front desk, so the mood of the FD agent is less important, at least for Hyatt International properties, it is certainly a different ball game in the less luxurious properties in the US.
BTW, how do you know that you always got the best available upgraded room?
