In January I received the Chase Ink Bold. I just called CS to ask for the date the card was issued so I could be certain to make my spend by 3 months from that date. I was told they can only tell me the month and year the card was issued, not the date. Wait, what?? She said it was for security purposes. Huh? I'm the cardholder, what's the security risk?

She did explain that the 3 months for the 5k spend follows my statement cycle, not my anniversary date. Now I understand that and I know when I need to complete my spend, but it still baffles me why she couldn't tell me the date the card was issued.

Anyone else have this happen? What am I missing here?
