Priority security is a service which is not uniformly provided at all airports - mainly because service levels can't always be defined by BA. Especially aspects such as accompanying persons are very hard if not impossible to impose on airport operators, TSA or even police which is in some airports responsible.

As andset1191 said, at LHR it is implemented for Gold/Silver plus one guest.
