I missed a flight out of JFK a couple years back when Obama came to the city. I just sat on the Long Island Expressway for over an hour before my taxi driver realized what was going on, and by then it was too late. Knowing DL's great baggage policy at JFK (60 minutes domestic), and I needed to take advantage of SP benefits, there was no chance.
