I upgraded a friend on paid UA metal using a CR1. She credited the UA flight to US. For the pre-integration outbound, the miles posted fine. The return leg was post-integration, and UA sent the booking code to US as 'R' which US says doesn't earn miles.

Argh. Do I tell her to contact UA to have them send over the proper booking class?
