Hi, I booked ORD-HKG-DPS with pre-avios miles on 11/14/11. Our trip was all set- 9/21 departure, direct to HKG on the CX non-stop flight. A few days there then onto Bali for a week, return to HKG for a day and then the CX non-stop back on 10/4- all in Business class.
So, just today, DH is told he can't have the time off of work. :-( I don't see any availability for other dates we could possibly go prior to 11/14/12 for our flights and I believe this ticket has to be used by then. I also looked and it seems that this same itin will now be 380,000 avios as opposed to the 200,000 pre-avios miles.
If we want to go in the future - what is the best redemption now for this trip. I have 1.2M in AA between DH and myself.
