Service at the IC is exemplary. When i was there I stupidly checked out leaving an envelope with several hundred GBP's worth of asian currencies laying on the desk.

When I realised, I called them, the cleaner had handed in the envelope and the hotel arranged for the currencies to be converted to SGD and the they credited my credit card with the value.

For that reason alone, I would stay there every time I'm in Singapore. And its only a 15-20min taxi ride.
