The net effect is that being an MVPG and thinking that you have a decent shot at being upgraded @ T-72 is being diminished by the airlines desire to entice the business traveling public to spend some more and get an UG.
For us non business folks this has that sound of "chip, chip, chip" that is becoming all to familiar....
Given the significantly increased fares we have seen lately from all airlines I think that, given are lack of time constraints, we will be looking to a high mileage passenger car for much more of our west coast touring in the future.
Two fares to PHX for almost $690, cab fares from an airport, parking fees etc., is going to force us onto the road, or just get a Skype program and pass on travel in the future...
