No, but if your place of birth was, e.g. Chicago, San Francisco, New Orleans, Boise, then it's a reasonable assumption (though not absolutely guaranteed, perhaps) that you were probably born in the US. I agree though that if it was, e.g. Portland or Richmond, then there's more room for doubt...
