On many flights, it becomes Public Access because there are so many elites.
This devaluates 1K/Plat/1P benefits.
It is in line with CO philosophy all elites are equal.
Which is why silvers have been downgraded to Boarding Group 4, lost a free bag, can't get E+ until check-in, went from an upgrade window of T-24 to "day of departure", and still don't get any discounts on SDCs, just like 1K/Plat/Golds.
