JW was not that good from the beginning, but after a few complaints, it does better now. In a few occassions, the MD even escorted me to the room. Maybe my guest profile is marked "heavy complainer".
I stayed at the JW for Christmas weekend last year. The hotel was fully booked on Christmas Eve but they were able to find me a room. As a Gold, I was given concierge access and the service was top notch. Pretty good spread of food at the lounge.
