You're right. You'd be whining about the inevitable increased redemption mileage rates, or reduced redemption availability, or increased ticket prices, or some other change BA would have to make to compensate for the loss of revenue.
I agree that BA should stop trying to kid on that its a fuel surcharge, but it'd be naive to think that BA could just roll it into the base price with no downstream implications.
And calling it a "criminal activity" does not make it so, and such hyperbole makes your overall argument less credible in my eyes.
