I also asked this a few days ago on http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...s-partner.html and there is a thread on http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/other...s-eva-air.html

All indications are that this is either a mistake when they revamped the webpages or a premature announcement.

If you think they screwed up the cabin names on the mileage chart, this is even funnier: http://pss.united.com/web/en-US/cont...iance/eva.aspx - must be a botched Search/Replace job.

I wrote to the 1k Desk about this but no answer yet.
