There are a number of reasons FT'ers have for doing SIN runs, and I guess the best is the mileage accrual on a popular route for most airlines.
The fact that there is a 'transit hotel' at the airport, english is generally the main language, people are friendly, easy & fast to get into the city, great food etc etc. all make for a popular run.
I myself, while not doing an official MR (I stayed over 3 nights) had a great time this past Jan, meeting up with a large group of other FT'ers, and I now have plans to repeat the trip next year. It's always nice to start of the year with 20,000+ real miles in your FF account
