The man who developed the entire Roppongi Hills project, including the Grand Hyatt, Minoru Mori, passed away last week.

His company, Mori Building, also developed the Shanghai World Financial Center, home of the Park Hyatt Shanghai.

He was known as quite the visionary. Personally, I have him to thank for two of my favorite hotels in the world. May he rest in peace.
