Yes, there are lots of filters that were (at least mostly) there before. I have to agree that this is not terribly passenger friendly. For example, maybe I'm willing to connect through either MSP or ATL, but I'm only willing to take a tight connection at MSP. How do the magic filters help with that? They don't, unless I first eliminate all connecting points except MSP and look, and then do the same for ATL. Why not display all the relevant flight information? I'm tesing YHZ-OMA for June, and married segment logic has created some awful options because it's too far out to really make sense to book it. However, it's not at all easy to tell what's going on with any of the options it presents without playing with the filters or clicking details a bunch of times.
