I am not always sure that quiet pool is a good indicator of how busy they are, we were there during a busy time and the pool was still relatively quiet. I would have thought any upgrade for a weekend stay would be unlikely.

I wonder how many of the upper end units they have compared to Studios? We were upgraded but then we paid for a 1 Bed Suite for our first night. I had agreed to pay a supplement for the remaining redemption nights (after some argument about the amount of the supplement) but ultimately wasn't charged.

Since the hotel seems to be based on a timeshare/condo ownership model, I also wonder if agreements with the individual owners don't impact the property's ability to upgrade?

We were very happy with our spacious 1 bed suite but I would like to find a way to get a 2 bed luxury suite at reasonable cost in early Feb 13. Whilst there are only 2 of us travelling a full kitchen and 2 full bathrooms with separate showers would be welcome here.
