I spent time at both the LAX Flagship (2 visits) and the MIA AC lounge (2 visits) last month and wasn't asked for my card, which I rarely carry with me in any event. I also had no issues at the JFK Flagship or AC Lounges.

My card status was clearly shown on my itinerary and this seemed to be all that was required. MIA asked for additional ID but at no time was I asked for my Gold Card.
