Hi all

I used my Krisflyer miles to redeem a First Class ticket on United from USA to Australia.

But UA's system has 'forgotten' the LAX-MEL segment, and SQ are telling me they can't get the seat confirmed, even though I have a valid ticket. They want me to fly SQ via SIN instead. That would mean adding 10 hours to my journey and an extra $500 in taxes/fuel surcharges.

What are my rights here ???
Will SQ have to reimburse me if I buy a "replacement" ticket on UA ?
