I have availed the facilities of the AA lounges in LAX (twice), SFO and MIA over the past week with a boarding card showing my BAEC details with no problems whatsoever. In fact I have never shown my BAEC to anyone in at least two years as the details always show on my boarding card (assuming you correctly link it to a OW code share)
