Just Back from Mumbai

I appreciate everyone's feedback and suggestions. As we only had 2 nights before heading south to Kerala, we made the most of it. Here's a quick recap of our impressions:

Trishna was our favorite. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, efficient service, but most importantly wonderful food. As there were four of us we were able to have many dishes, including the crab, jumbo prawns & a local fish.

Leopolds was our second favorite. After a day of touring and following a large lunch at Trishna we wanted a casual evening. I was angling for the Indian Chinese and our guide insisted Leopolds would have it along with a good selection of Indian food. It hit the spot, and the lively atmosphere made for an enjoyable evening.

Masala Kraft was a disappointment. They dumb down the food for the western clientele and the atmosphere was lacking. It was just a large generic windowless dining room.

Our favorite bar was the Harbour Bar in our hotel the Taj Palace. We were fortunate enough to snag a nice window table and enjoyed the views of the Gateway to India as the sun was setting.
