I really like LGW, but I really like T5. I fly through LGW very frequently, Premium Gatwick is excellent, the new BA check in area is great, LGW itself now it has undergone a big refurb is good and the only part that I think they are lacking is a better lounge- No 1 have pulled it off, the Terraces lounge just needs a little bit more o a refurb to bring it up to scratch.

Having said that, the LGW staff are absolutely excellent. I can fly through LGW and get addressed by name 3 times- at check in, lounge and upon boarding- and this is on a cheap ET ticket as a Silver... They make you feel so welcome, and this is definitely the way in which returning pax like cardholders and WT+/CW/F pax should be recognised IMO, adds a nice personal touch
