If that was the case then non-point earning rates would be $10-20/nt cheaper, not $100-200 cheaper as it stands now. And costco packages often include extras such as breakfasts, resort credits, category upgrades etc...
Yea, Costco rate included a 1000 resort credit and a rental car for a pretty good rate. I got a good rate from SPG in a really nice room.
still debating what to do. The triple star points are good though.
