Unfortunately, I'm concerned about the same thing. I fear that MEM's time is limited as a DL hub despite what Anderson says in the linked article. It would be a major tactical error to admit that DL is pulling out as it would create a frenzy in MEM that gradually reducing flight capacity might not create.

I like MEM. Often I find myself on routes that seem to connect through there. MSY-MEM-OKC, OKC-MEM-BHM, etc. I wish they'd keep a strong presence at MEM but I'm not sure it's a cost friendly option. This question is on my list of questions I want to ask the execs at investor day this year.
