The only way to get to Perth is to use a non-U.S. based *A partner, so the *A award chart would apply. Perth might be considered S. Pacific, which would be 10K miles less than S. Asia, but still a lot more miles than she has for business, never mind first class.

Another problem is that she can't use a mixture of US and another airlines miles to book with one carrier. If the airline allows it, you could book 2 one-way awards using miles from one of two accounts for the outbound and miles from the other to book the return. However, US doesn't allow one-way award bookings so using US as one of the carriers would require 50% more miles.

She could get around the US restriction on one-way awards by booking a round trip on US to an international gateway (either in the U.S. or Europe) and miles on another carrier to book round-trip on the portion that US doesn't serve.

One way to get a lot of US miles relatively fast is one of the credit cards - most give bonus miles with the first purchase which would post following the 1st billing cycle. There's also a share miles promo through the end of this month. You could share 50K US miles with her and she would get 75K miles, then she could share 34K miles with you and you'd get 51K miles back, leaving her with an extra 41K miles. It's not the cheapest way to get miles but it's a fast way to get a lot of miles. Naturally this requires you having a DM account with at least 50K miles in it. If you can still do both she'd have nearly enough miles for first class.

Unfortunately, she needs enough more miles for business class that it'll be hard to get them any other way. If she's a frequent flyer, she could pay for the DM Multiplier and get 2x or 2x the normal miles every flight - it wouldn't be an especially quick way to get the 35K+ miles she needs but it could be done.
