And wrong - the flooding issue was because of too much water behind the dams in N Thailand after an extra long wet monsoon. The bureaucrats should have been venting it earlier. After their screwup, they basically sacrificed the 'burbs' to save central Bangkok. DMK doesn't really have a flooding problem. wj
