Thanks for telling us the FAs were US-based, but it could have changed in five years - and if it had, culture is certainly an issue that can affect the issue of service. (wpj states the contrary in terms of EZE-JFK flights. (The last time I had Latin American FAs on a flight the men were complete marranos.)

I hope Orlando Vic gave AA some feedback.
