If you are flying from the eastern half of the US there were some nice AF premium voyager fares to Asia, a bit more than across the pacific but earn 50% bonus EQM on DL. Allow several stopovers, for example, I purchased DCA-PNH and had stopovers of a few days in BKK and CDG on the return -- about $2400 US.
