As a former management consultant that has done a fair share (no pun intended) of global integrations/transformations, rule #1 in being successful with these intergrations/transformations is...always make the technology fit the processes...not the other way around. There are plenty of examples of failed entities not following this rule....If this is a "temporary" thing...i.e. a few weeks then ok...if longer..I would strongly suggest going with a platform that will handle your processes....unless...in this case...this will be the process going forward....

Bottom line is don't be slave to your technology platform that affects your ability to carry out your business....its like the tail wagging the dog and we all know what happens then.....
