BTW (and slightly off topic), how much should one expect to pay for a taxi FROM the airport to Asoke late at night (I paid 480 baht)?
The fare should be appx 210THB, plus the 50THB airport surcharge.
If you take the elevated tollway, the tolls are usually 25 + 45 THB, and the meter fare may be a bit higher (20THB range).
Also waiting time will be added for any red lights/traffic jams.
