Thank you for the correction.

In my case we are looking at the 6-day London pass, because we will be in London for a midweek (mo-fr), and the chance we travel before 9.30am will be substantial, so I guess for us -in our situation- this will still be a good option - we will fly thru LCY and LHR, so one day we travel to zone 6. Or alternatively I can buy an Oystercard while my son use the London pass with travel option (because we otherwise have to get a Oyster photocard. And looking at the website that's a bit more complicated.)
