Same experience here to LAX, around $3,000 less vs. SIN/LAX, but that's because we're comparing non-stop vs. 1-stop. Nevertheless SQ SIN/NRT/LAX is consistently around $1,000 more than CX SIN/HKG/LAX so I shall stick with CX. It's the 3rd time I'm doing this since the start of the year, so if this pattern is being repeated by many others it's only a matter of time before this will start hurting SQ.

And to top it all, the new CX J seat is really good as it provides continuous adjustable seat configuration from upright down to full flat bed, rather than the "either or" for SQ.
