Trust the DNS service of public WiFi access points?

Not withstanding a number of potential IT security issues with using public WiFi, I am wondering how many are implicitly trusting the DNS service provision from public (coffee shop, airport, hotel) WiFi access points?

Anyone using a 3rd party DNS service provider (for example OpenDNS.com) as a means of reducing your risk?
