BobbySteel, I am on VodaFone as well; if you have iPhone (though I assume there are equivalents with other services/models) the app store has a variety of 0800 masks that allow you to make 0800 calls without being charged for these at a premium. I use '0800 Wizard'...I type in the 0800 number, and it masks this with a UK domestic number (which is included in my VodaFone minutes) and connects me. It's a cheat, but it works and saves a fortune. Hope this helps.
