Keep in mind that Sprint is about to transition from WiMax to LTE 4G technology (

The first 1900MHz LTE devices will be launched in mid-2012. Next year most of Sprint's high end-handsets will be CDMA/LTE products, and they'll be coming from the usual players (Samsung, HTC, LG), with Motorola likely leading the charge.

Ka-ching! $5 more a month from every customer they've pulled this on. It's a material adverse change, so I can leave Sprint (after 13 years!) and go to Verizon perhaps...but even with the ripoff, the plan is still much cheaper than any others because of the unlimited data. Sigh.
I share your pain. It was not that long ago that my corporate discount applied to the entire bill, including third and fourth lines as well as the 4G surcharges.
After checking with AT&T and Verizon, where I am also eligible for corporate discounts, albeit not as generous, it would appear that they also discount only the charges for the base plans.
