Thanks for the responses everyone. I really don't have any reason not to trust Barclays, but as one of the posters pointed out, the general belief on this forum is that Barclays isn't as good as the other CC providers, hence my uncertainty. I am not attributing malice to anyone, just wanted to know if they would actually follow through on their promise to send me a replacement welcome kit. Based on some of the responses, it looks like they will keep their word. Fingers crossed.
