I have even seen the Moto Hakone Sekibutsugun on the side of the road across from the lake in the middle of nowhere. I have a picture of myself with the sign pointing out the highest elevation on Highway 1. I have done it all.

The main interest for my wife in a potential Hakone Hyatt trip is a side trip to the Gotenba Outlet Mall. Another strike against it.
