A commercial fuel purchase can easily run $400+. Not sure it's practical to carry a stack of gasoline giftcards, and the company accounts will be distorted if your credit card records shows disproportionate office supply purchases.
I agree. I'm still not exactly sure in which oil field my business partner and I will drive, but in general the fields are remote (e.g. middle of nowhere North Dakota) and very far from a steady supply of gift cards. It may not be feasible to use gift cards for our $400+ gas purchases and long hours of driving.
