Yes - I mis-stated terms whilst the coffee was still entering the bloodstream.
What I meant was Premium Voyageur on AF.
From the looks of it, my suspicions were confirmed about not being able to get into PV w/out paying for it. I'm going to call the AF US line to check.

The incorrect thread title continues to do readers a disservice: there is no AF Economy Comfort.
Rather than seeking to prove a negative - calling AF to check about NOT being able to get into PV - one might pose this: show us the DL/AF/KL page(s) that led you to believe one
could get PV for free from a (cheap) coach fare (without SWU, miles, or surcharge).
The existence of this thread spreads ambiguity when there is none.
