I was on the overwing exit row on an LHR-NCL flight earlier this year, and the woman on the exit seat was asked to turn her phone off while we were taxiing.

Purser walked off, and she proceeded to make another phone call.

Purser came back and leaned over me and took the phone off her, and said:

"I asked you politely to turn your phone off madam. I'll bring it back to you when we're airborne!"

Made for a few uncomfortable minutes for me as I struggled not to burst out laughing.

Nice to see a good return of serve to the arrogant passenger, who i might add, twisted her face for the whole journey.
