Well, since I, everyone in my row, people in front and behind me, and numerous others on those three flights (that, you know, I was on), had to pay for booze, I think they absolutely were. I can't say anything for flights other than the ones I was on myself. But for those three? Yeah, I'm pretty certain the money they asked me for in exchange for little bottles was "paying for booze."
