The coach passengers in the split cabin never seem to refrain from using the UC restroom as they are instructed. On a rather long flight from LHR to JNB last December, a mother from coach with a baby carried the screaming child through UC to use the restroom then walked back and forth through the UC cabin trying to get the child to quiet down, that went on and off for 11 hours.

It really depends upon the flight crew to police the access to the UC cabin.

On the return flight, LHR-LAX on the same vacation, on an A340, Minnie Driver and her demon child that never shut up were in UC, and because she's a celebrity no one said "Shut That Kid UP!".
