i am coming up on my first annual fee ($85) for my citi biz amex (the first year's fee was waived). i wasn't using the card much, putting $ onto others for intro miles, so i was going to cancel this card. the rep offered to reimburse my acct after 5 purchase transactions (incl gas, groceries, etc. not bal transfers or cash). so i will keep it for another year. why not? maybe some of you can get your fees reimbursed this way.
